how do i install qm?
most users install qm from a self-extracting archive file downloaded from this site. visit the downloads page and download the appropriate version for your operating system. you will also find the qm documentation in various formats on this page.
windows
copy the downloaded qm_x-x-x.exe file to the system on which you want to install qm.
ensure that any previous version of qm is not running. all qm users must log off and the qmsvc service must be shutdown.execute the downloaded file.the winzip self-extract program will display a window in which you should click on setup. the main installation window will be displayed.select the components to be installed by ticking the boxes at the right hand side of the window. only the boxes applicable to the particular download will be available.click on install to start the process.various windows will appear for configuration of customisable features. in general, you can leave these at their default settings.the final stage will ask for entry of your licence details.
